A BOSU Balance Trainer (or BOSU ball) is a fitness training device, invented in 1999 consisting of an inflated rubber hemisphere attached to a rigid platform. The device is often used for balance training.
Bosu Ball Advantage
The BOSU ball is a fitness essential for your club, personal training studio or in-home gym. It adds excitement to your workout and can pump up the intensity and add variety to virtually any exercise. Your members will love it….A balanced routine works best, so remember to include a variety of exercises. You’ll always want to include the following components into your workout which include aerobic, strength training, stretching, and high intensity exercise. Again, the BOSU fits in nicely to just about any comprehensive fitness routine, and can be used with virtually all of your activities, from stretching and strength training to aerobics, so it can be well worth the investment.
The BOSUball products are made right here in America 100%. All Bosu balls and storage racks are home made along with all other bosu ball accessories. Not only do we have state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and competitive pricing but the Bosu team actually know the people involved in the process. A nice touch to a great fun fitness product.
Benefits of Bosu Training
BOSU stands for "Both Sides Up" or "Both Sides Utilized." With a flat platform on one side and a rubber dome on the other (resembling half an exercise ball), it can help you improve your balance and flexibility, sharpen your reflexes, and reshape your body. Virtually any workout can be enhanced by incorporating the use of a Bosu ball. Giving you a more complete workout and a great alternative to varying your routine or workouts. The domed side is used for aerobic exercises and athletic drills. When inverted it becomes a tool for balance training to compliment your overall workout. Because it requires you to use more muscles to stabilize your body, it means your workouts will be more intense.
The Bosu takes up less space than a stability ball, and because it's flat on one side, you don't have to worry about a Bosu trainer rolling away from you the way that stability balls frequently do.
Remember, the Bosu ball will build inherent strength, improve gait and overall balance. Which all leads to lowering the risk of injury to your members, clients or to yourself.
